About Us
Elite Automotive & Diesel Repair was built from a desire to do things independently and provide customers with a shop they can depend on. Owner Devin Kelly first opened the business in 2016, initially operating it as a side business and personal passion while building his experience and reputation. Over time, that small operation developed into the full-service automotive and diesel repair business it is today.
In March 2025, Devin took another important step by purchasing the current Upper Sandusky location, which had previously operated as Bomers Exhaust. The move provided Elite Automotive & Diesel Repair with two dedicated repair locations. 1101 East Wyandot Ave. being cars and light trucks, and 6489 County Hwy 56 being heavy trucks and equipment.
Built on Independence and Experience
Devin started Elite Automotive & Diesel Repair because he wanted to work for himself rather than remain in a traditional employee role. What began as a hobby and side business eventually grew into a career and a shop capable of handling much more than basic automotive repairs.
Today, the shop works with an unusually broad range of vehicles and applications, including everyday passenger vehicles, diesel trucks, 18-wheelers, agricultural, and construction equipment. This versatility allows Elite Automotive & Diesel Repair to serve customers with very different transportation and work needs.
